Empowering the next generation through financial literacy
Finance For All brings financial education to underprivileged students across government schools in Bangalore — free of cost, taught by students, built for the real world.
We turn up at schools, and we teach the thing nobody teaches.
Finance For All is run by students. We contact a government school or a shelter, sit down with the teachers to find a time that works around their timetable, and then come in and run our workshops ourselves — free, always.
Over four Saturdays we cover the things most people are expected to somehow already know: how a bank account works, how to keep track of what you spend, what interest actually does to a loan, which government schemes you are entitled to, and how to tell a real opportunity from someone trying to take your money.
Most of the students we meet are the first in their family to be taught any of it. That is the whole point. A child who understands money grows into an adult who can protect a household with it.

About us
Financial literacy is not a privilege. It is a life skill.
Finance For All (FFA) is a youth-led non-profit committed to making financial education accessible to every child. We work with government schools and shelters across Bangalore, running free workshops for students who would otherwise leave school without ever being taught how money works.
Our sessions cover budgeting, banking, saving, investing, insurance, debt, consumer rights and responsible financial decision-making — taught through real examples and hands-on activities rather than lectures.
The goal is simple: give every student knowledge that changes not only their own future, but their family's and their community's.

How we work

Partner with schools
We approach government schools and shelters across Bangalore and agree a schedule with their staff.

Deliver workshops
Volunteers run jargon-free sessions on the core modules, using examples from students' own lives.

Hands-on activities
Students apply what they have learnt through games, goal-setting exercises and role-play.

A closing quiz and open discussion confirm the concepts actually landed.

Who runs Finance For All
Founder & Head
Smyaan Sheth
Smyaan founded Finance For All with the vision of ensuring every student has access to financial education regardless of their background. What began as a single workshop now runs across government schools and shelters in Bangalore, taught by a team of volunteers who were themselves students when they started.
